  Jewel of Oak Island! Each element of this restaurant perfectly compliments the others. The food is absolutely wonderful, order anything from the menu and you will be more than satisfied. The staff is warm, welcoming and knowledgeable about each menu item. The service staff can tell you ingredients of every dish and make excellent recommendations based on what you prefer, not something they want to sell the most. The atmosphere of the restaurant is comfortable elegance with a view to die for. Ally made sure our experience was memorable and we felt right at home. I would highly recommend Island Way for anyone traveling to the area!

  Disappointed in this place. My husband and I chose this place to celebrate our 5th anniversary. The wine selection was good, but the food was mediocre. I ordered the fish and chips and basically the fish was like glorified fish sticks. Soggy breading! My husband got the shrimp and his was mediocre as well. Next time we'll be eating elsewhere!
